Practical details

Where we work together

I work in person from Wombourne (WV5), easily accessible from Wolverhampton, Codsall, Sedgley and surrounding areas.

If you prefer, we can also work together remotely via video or telephone. Both options offer the same calm, confidential space to explore what feels important to you.

Session structure

Therapy sessions last for 60 minutes. I leave sufficient time between sessions so that we don’t feel rushed at the end and can take a couple of minutes to confirm our next appointment if needed. You can read more about my approach to counselling if you’d like to understand how I work in more detail.

At the start of therapy, regular sessions often help to build the therapeutic relationship. You can choose a particular day and time on a weekly or fortnightly basis, or take a more flexible approach and book sessions individually according to availability.

Appointment times

Counselling appointments are at 08:00, 09:30, 11:00 and 12:30 - Wednesday to Saturday (subject to availability). This is something we can explore together during an introductory conversation.

Fees

Each session costs £55 and payment is due by the end of the day of your counselling session. Most people choose to pay by bank transfer. If you are attending in person, cash is also accepted if you prefer.

Reduced-rate spaces

I offer a small number of reduced-rate spaces, which become available from time to time. If cost is a concern, you’re welcome to contact me to ask about current availability.

Cancellations

If something unforeseen comes up, you can cancel or rearrange your appointment provided there is at least 24 hours notice before the start time. With less than 24 hours notice, the session remains chargeable whether attended or not.

Appointments are easy to manage through the link included in your confirmation and reminder emails.

If you’re considering counselling, arranging a free introductory conversation can help you decide whether working together feels right.
