Session duration
Therapy sessions last for 60 minutes. I leave sufficient time between sessions so that we don’t feel rushed at the end and can take a couple of minutes to confirm our next appointment.
Session frequency
At the start of your therapy journey if often makes sense to have regular sessions in order to build the therapeutic relationship. You can opt for a particular day/time on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Alternatively you can take an ad-hoc approach and book one appointment at a time based on what’s available at the time of booking.
Fees
Each session costs £50 and payment is due by the end of the day of your counselling. Most people choose to pay by bank transfer. If you’re attending in-person then cash is also accepted if you prefer.
Cancellations
If something unforeseen comes up you can cancel or rearrange your appointment as long as there’s at least 24 hours to go before the start time. With less than 24 hours notice it’s not possible to cancel or rearrange, and the session will be chargeable whether attended or not. It’s easy to manage your appointments through the link in your confirmation and reminder emails.
Appointment times
Counselling appointments are held on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 08.00, 09.30, 11.00 and 12.30 according to availability. This is one of the things we talk about during an introductory call.
Concessions
I offer a limited number of reduced price spaces for those who would otherwise be unable to access private counselling. If you feel that one of these spaces would be helpful, please get in touch to talk about availability.
