Counselling with Mark — thoughtful, grounded support at your pace

If you’ve arrived here after using Bark, welcome. Many people reach out when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or under pressure while appearing to cope well on the surface. You may be looking for a space where you can slow down, make sense of things more clearly, and feel properly understood without judgement or pressure.

I offer counselling for adults who want to understand themselves more deeply and move forward in ways that feel meaningful and sustainable.

You’re in the right place if:

  • You feel overwhelmed, stuck, or under pressure despite appearing to cope well.

  • You want to understand patterns in yourself rather than just manage symptoms.

  • You’re looking for a calm, thoughtful space without pressure or judgement.

  • You’re unsure where to start but know something needs to change.

How I work

My approach is calm, reflective and non-directive. Rather than offering quick fixes or trying to fit you into a particular label, we focus on understanding patterns — how you think, feel, and respond — so that you can develop clearer insight and move forward in ways that feel sustainable.

Clients often come to me with experiences such as anxiety, ongoing stress, relationship difficulties, burnout, low confidence or self-esteem, major life changes, or questions connected to neurodivergence or high sensitivity. You do not need to arrive with everything clearly defined; counselling begins wherever you are.
